Michelle Ritchie

Michelle Ritchie, BC-HIS

Michelle is a native Newfoundlander who recently came home to pursue her goal of helping the hearing impaired. She began working in the Hearing Industry in Nova Scotia in 2007, before having the opportunity to return home in 2014 and become the owner of Newfoundland Hearing Health Centre in 2015.

Michelle obtained her Board Certification in Hearing Instrument Sciences in 2014.

Her passion is getting to know her patients individual needs to ensure they receive the best possible solution for their hearing needs. Michelle also has the perspective of hearing loss as a cancer survivor. This gives her a unique ability to be able to understand the effects that modern cancer therapies have on our hearing system.

Outside the office, Michelle likes to spend time with her family.

Sandra Cahill, BC-HIS

Sandra is a Board-Certified Hearing Instrument Specialist who has been in practice since 1990. She became Board-Certified in 1995 and was certified as a Hearing Conservationist in 2018.

As a pioneer in the hearing industry, Sandra brings a wealth of knowledge about hearing loss and hearing aids. Having Tinnitus herself also helps Sandra offer a unique insight to help who suffer from this frustrating and debilitating affliction.

Sandra is currently the president of the Newfoundland Association of Hearing Instrument Specialists, Newfoundland’s representative with the Canadian Hearing Instrument Practitioners Association, and Chairman of the Board of the Newfoundland Hearing Practitioners Association.

Sandra loves to travel, sports, and spend time with her grandchildren.

Tanya Grenning, BA, L-HIS

Tanya began her career with Newfoundland Hearing in 2009. She has a BA with a double major in Languages from Memorial University of Newfoundland. Tanya’s study of Languages and Phonetics sparked her interest in hearing and speech. 

In addition to her experience in languages, Tanya’s grandparents on both sides of her family have hearing loss which gives her a unique insight when not only helping the patient but their families as well. This enables the whole family to benefit from better hearing as well as the assistive devices.

Tanya is a busy mother of two and loves to spend time riding with her beloved horse, Sky.

Jennifer Sheppard, Client Services Manager

Jennifer is the newest member of our team. She comes to us with a background of Medical Technology and Homecare, so providing service to our patients is a given for her. 

Jennifer is bright, friendly, and enjoys her interactions with our clients either on the phone or in person. Jennifer enjoys the outdoors and is a whizz at Bingo.
